Privacy Policy

The New Mexico Community for Emotionally Focused Therapy (NMEFT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This policy explains what information we collect through nmeft.org, how we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Membership information: name, email, phone, mailing address, professional credentials, EFT training level, practice location and other details you provide when you join or renew.
- Event registrations: the information you provide when you register for an event or training.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Wild Apricot's payment processor. NMEFT does not see or store your full card or bank account numbers.
- Website usage: our site platform, Wild Apricot, uses cookies to keep you logged in and make the site work.
How we use your information
- To manage memberships, renewals and dues
- To run events and trainings
- To send association news and updates
- To publish the member directory (see below)
We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
Member directory
Full Members may appear in our public therapist directory. You control which of your profile details are shown and can change them at any time by logging in and editing your profile. Associate and Prelicensed Members do not appear in the public directory.
Emails
You can unsubscribe from association emails at any time using the link in any email. We may still send messages about your membership, dues or event registrations.
Who has access
NMEFT board members and volunteers who manage the association can access member records as needed for that work. Your information is stored on Wild Apricot's servers. You can read Wild Apricot's privacy policy on their website.
Your choices
You can view and update your profile by logging in. To request a copy of your information or ask us to delete your account, email newmexicoeft@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
